From a Farming Family to 15,000+ Moves
Long before Sandy Movers existed, Sandy grew up in a farming family.
Helping out wasn’t really optional.
If there was work to finish, you finished it. If something went wrong, you found a way to solve it. And if somebody needed a hand, you gave them one.
That practical, hands-on attitude stayed with Sandy.
Years later, after seeing how stressful and unnecessarily expensive moving could become, he saw an opportunity to do things differently.
In 2014, Sandy began helping friends and family move.
There wasn’t a grand corporate launch. A van, hard work and people trusting him with their belongings.
Then one successful move led to another.
Friends recommended friends. Furniture collections became flat moves. Flat moves became full family homes. Customers came back years later when they moved again and passed Sandy’s number to parents, children, neighbours and colleagues.
That is how Sandy Movers grew.
Not by trying to become Britain’s biggest removals company — by doing enough good moves that people kept recommending us.
Today, that has grown into 15,000+ completed moves, but the principle is still simple:
