Our Removal Services
A complete moving service, tailored to your property, access and requirements.
Sandy Movers moves houses throughout Kingston, including homes around Kingston Hill, Canbury and the residential streets north and east of the centre. We include lofts, sheds, garages, home offices, bicycles and outdoor furniture in the inventory, then match the van and team to the full move.
Sandy Movers handles flats around Kingston riverside, Kingston town centre and buildings near Kingston station. We confirm the building entrance, concierge requirements, available lift slot and actual loading point. If beds or wardrobes need taking apart, dismantling and reassembly can be included in the plan.
Sandy Movers provides office and smaller business relocations for desks, workstations, ordinary office contents, records and furniture. In central Kingston, service yards, signed loading bays and delivery windows matter as much as distance. We establish these before scheduling the move.
Sandy Movers offers man and van for student rooms, compact flats, small storage loads and furniture collections. The load, floor access and vehicle standing place determine the right crew. We cover moves around Kingston town centre and between Kingston, Teddington, Richmond and Surrey.
Sandy Movers provides packing services for Kingston apartments and family houses, including kitchens, fragile items, books and full-property packing. We agree quantities and materials and label boxes by their delivery room, making shared-lift or time-slot unloading faster to organise.
Sandy Movers moves households from KT1 and KT2 to destinations across the UK. Our long-distance service plans Kingston loading, any timed building access, vehicle journey and destination handover together so a short carry is not assumed where the approved bay is farther away.

"Affordable quote for moving from Addlestone to Camden. Responsive to messages. Very reliable service and kind crew. Thank you Gurshann and pal. (sorry, I should've taken the other crew's name). Our stuff were handled well and I was amazed how they quickly did loading and unloading. They provided extra bags to gather small stuff for easy transfer."

"We moved yesterday and used Sandy Movers, and they were by far one of the best moving companies we have ever worked with. The team was friendly, professional, hardworking, and extremely punctual. We were very impressed with their service from start to finish. They delivered exactly what they promised and handled everything with great care. While assembling our furniture, I requested a few changes, and they happily accommodated them without any hesitation."

Why Choose Sandy Movers
Direct family-run movers, clear pricing and fully insured removals — not a call-centre marketplace.
Sandy Movers vs Typical Alternatives*
*Typical alternatives refers to common issues customers may face with marketplace-style booking platforms, lead-generation sites, call-centre movers, budget listings or unverified man-and-van operators. It does not refer to every removals company.
24-hour booking flexibility depends on route, crew availability, access, job size and scheduling.
Moving to Kingston upon Thames? Local Moving Guide
A short, practical guide to moving in and around Kingston upon Thames — what we plan for and the services we offer locally.
Moving to Kingston upon Thames works best when the moving plan starts with the actual property and loading point, not just the postcode. The guide below covers the local conditions that affect a removal van, crew and moving-day schedule.
Kingston town centre versus Kingston Hill
Kingston upon Thames includes pedestrian-priority shopping streets, riverside apartments, mixed-use blocks and quieter houses farther up Kingston Hill. A town-centre flat with service access and a large family house off Kingston Hill are completely different removal jobs. Provide the actual door, floor, parking and property contents rather than relying on “Kingston KT1” or “KT2” alone.
Kingston parking suspensions can be away from your door
Kingston Council provides a specific house-move parking suspension service. The council says a suspended space may be up to 75 metres from the requested location. That carrying distance changes staffing and loading time: give Sandy Movers the approved position, bay length and route through any gate or courtyard. Check Kingston parking zones for street-specific conditions.
Kingston Bridge and riverside routes
Kingston Bridge, the riverfront roads and the town-centre approach routes are important for cross-river journeys. Do not assume the nearest car park or short-stay space can take a removal van. Check height restrictions at any building or parking entrance and send the exact loading address, not just the building name.
Riverside apartments, lifts and concierge rules
Modern Kingston apartment blocks can use shared delivery bays, fob-controlled doors and booked lifts. Get permission from building management, confirm the service route and send the van height or size restrictions. The crew needs enough time to load and unload without holding other residents’ lifts unnecessarily.
Student flats and smaller KT1 moves
Kingston has many student and house-share moves as well as family relocations. Small loads still need an accurate furniture list and floor details; a heavy desk up several flights is not the same as boxes moved from the ground floor. Sandy Movers quotes the crew and vehicle for the actual job and can combine furniture pickup with the main move when included in the scope.
Kingston family homes, gardens and storage
Houses around Canbury and Kingston Hill may include garages, sheds, lofts, gardens and home offices. Count these areas before booking. We can include packing and suitable furniture assembly, with the most important beds and labelled boxes placed for early delivery.
Red routes and council roads have different permission
The borough explains that roads with red lines are generally managed by Transport for London, not the borough suspension service. Kingston’s parking restrictions guidance points customers to the correct authority. Give our team photos of the signs and the vehicle position, then obtain the necessary permission from the relevant road authority.
Kingston to Richmond, Teddington and longer moves
Sandy Movers handles local moves between Kingston, Teddington, Richmond, Esher, Weybridge and other places across the UK. Start with both postcodes, move date, full contents, floors, lift details, parking and any storage stop. The same inventory underpins your initial estimate and confirmed booking.
