Our Removal Services
A complete moving service, tailored to your property, access and requirements.
Sandy Movers handles house moves in East Sheen for two-, three-, four- and larger-bedroom properties. A proper load assessment includes lofts, spare rooms, office desks, garages and gardens as well as bedroom furniture. We agree suitable crew numbers, furniture handling and loading order from the actual SW14 inventory.
Sandy Movers moves maisonettes and conversions around Mortlake station, Sheen Lane and the roads linking to Barnes. We check floor level, stairs, door widths, lift bookings and the nearest legal van position. For oversized items, dismantling and reassembly can be added to the agreed move.
Sandy Movers provides small office and shop moves along Upper Richmond Road West, Sheen Lane and nearby business streets. We label desks, files, chairs and ordinary equipment, confirm loading entrances and plan delivery around access hours. We do not imply a specialist IT data-centre move is included in a standard furniture relocation.
Sandy Movers provides man and van for small flats, room moves, storage trips and individual furniture collections in East Sheen and Mortlake. Give us the full item list and access details; the crew can then handle a heavy wardrobe or upstairs apartment safely without forcing everything into a one-mover quote.
Sandy Movers offers packing services for busy families relocating from East Sheen. We can pack the complete household or focus on kitchens, books and fragile rooms, with materials agreed in advance. Numbered boxes and clear destination labels keep multi-room family moves organised.
Sandy Movers arranges long-distance removals from SW14 to the rest of the UK. The plan includes collection access around Sheen Lane or Upper Richmond Road West, delivery-floor access, any fixed key-collection slot and packing requirements. One complete inventory prevents extra trips and poorly sized vehicles.

"Affordable quote for moving from Addlestone to Camden. Responsive to messages. Very reliable service and kind crew. Thank you Gurshann and pal. (sorry, I should've taken the other crew's name). Our stuff were handled well and I was amazed how they quickly did loading and unloading. They provided extra bags to gather small stuff for easy transfer."

"We moved yesterday and used Sandy Movers, and they were by far one of the best moving companies we have ever worked with. The team was friendly, professional, hardworking, and extremely punctual. We were very impressed with their service from start to finish. They delivered exactly what they promised and handled everything with great care. While assembling our furniture, I requested a few changes, and they happily accommodated them without any hesitation."

Why Choose Sandy Movers
Direct family-run movers, clear pricing and fully insured removals — not a call-centre marketplace.
Sandy Movers vs Typical Alternatives*
*Typical alternatives refers to common issues customers may face with marketplace-style booking platforms, lead-generation sites, call-centre movers, budget listings or unverified man-and-van operators. It does not refer to every removals company.
24-hour booking flexibility depends on route, crew availability, access, job size and scheduling.
Moving to East Sheen? Local Moving Guide
A short, practical guide to moving in and around East Sheen — what we plan for and the services we offer locally.
Moving to East Sheen works best when the moving plan starts with the actual property and loading point, not just the postcode. The guide below covers the local conditions that affect a removal van, crew and moving-day schedule.
The East Sheen family-house inventory
East Sheen has many terraced, semi-detached and detached family homes, often with extensions, loft conversions, gardens and home offices. Count the large furniture first, then add loft contents, outdoor storage, tools, bikes and boxes. Do not base a quote solely on the number of bedrooms. A WhatsApp walkthrough is particularly useful for a house with several storage areas.
Upper Richmond Road West and Sheen Lane loading
The A205 Upper Richmond Road West and Sheen Lane carry local and through traffic; individual side roads vary in parking controls. Customers moving within East Sheen should check the exact location through Richmond parking suspensions and the controlled parking zone maps. Give Sandy Movers the legal loading space, path to the door and any restrictions on the day. A general street parking photo is not a suspension approval.
Mortlake and railway-side access
Mortlake and the roads near the railway can have busy junctions and tightly parked terraces. Supply the collection entrance and a proposed loading location; the shortest approach for a car may not work for a loaded Luton van. For flats near Mortlake station, include the actual building door, staircase and whether the entrance is on a side road.
Large furniture, extensions and tight hallways
Victorian and Edwardian houses in SW14 often combine narrow original halls with modern rear extensions and loft conversions. Check if a sofa, wardrobe or bed frame can turn on the stairs; flag items assembled upstairs or inside a converted attic. We plan suitable dismantling before moving day rather than risking furniture or paintwork.
School Street controls at Sheen Mount and Thomson House
Richmond Council identifies School Street restrictions serving Sheen Mount School and Thomson House School. If your home is on an affected road, use the official School Streets location and timing guide before setting the loading window. An approved parking bay does not override timed vehicle restrictions.
Moving between East Sheen, Barnes and Richmond
Common East Sheen routes include Mortlake, Barnes, Richmond, Chiswick, Putney and westward moves towards Twickenham. Tell Sandy Movers about multiple pickup stops or storage, not just the final delivery address. We set the crew and loading order around all addresses in the move.
Full packing without slowing the move
For a large East Sheen home, decide which rooms the family will pack and which Sandy Movers will handle. Kitchens, picture frames and fragile collections take different materials from books or clothing. Label boxes by destination room and keep essentials and important documents separate. Packing details belong in the agreed quote from the start.
Get an accurate East Sheen moving estimate
Start with SW14 collection and destination postcodes, date and main furniture. Add floors, access photographs, garden and loft items, and the required packing or assembly. The online estimator gives a quick indication; Sandy Movers then confirms a quote for the full agreed inventory and access, without requiring a perfect list before first contact.
